Supervision

I became a qualified supervisor for MFT’s and MHC’s because I had excellent supervision during my internships and I wanted to give back to my field to help up and coming therapists reach their potential. I see my role as a supervisor as an important one and limit the number of Registered Interns that I supervise.  My approach utilizes several methods centered around psycho dynamics, client centered solution focused work, experiential, and systems theory.  I provide assessments quarterly, review cases with you, and aid you in developing your own unique style of doing therapy.  I will also challenge you enough so that you can grow in the areas in your work that are important to you.

You can feel secure in knowing that I am monitoring you and aiding you in being compliant with state regulations that govern our industry.   I encourage you to invest in a good supervisor, it is well worth it in the short and long-term.

If you are interested in me being your supervisor, please contact me to arrange a free initial consultation.  You have chosen a purposeful and rewarding career and I wish you the best in your endeavors.

Lisa Angel is an excellent Clinical Supervisor. Her knowledge, professionalism, and compassion demonstrated what genuine therapeutic counseling should be. I have learned strong clinical skills from her and at the same time she helped me determine many of the underlying issues presented by the clients. Lisa has seen me through some trying cases and professional situations and I feel as though I have benefited through my working relationship with her.
